Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
At Next adventure we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information related to the Next adventure app and this promotional website. For the general terms of use of the app, please also see our Terms of Service.
2. No account and no central storage with us
Next adventure works without an account. We do not operate our own cloud or sign-in service where your adventures, people, or preferences are stored centrally with us. We do not sell personal data and we do not use advertising or analytics SDKs in the app that send data to us.
3. The app: data on your device
Information you enter in the app (such as people’s names, an optional photo or emoji, your adventure list, filters, and preferences) is stored locally on your device. We do not receive or process that information on a server in order to operate the app. If you delete the app, this local data is usually removed by the operating system, unless you have saved a backup elsewhere.
4. This website
On this site, your language preference (Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese) may be stored locally in your browser so you see the same language on your next visit. As the provider of these static pages, we therefore do not need to receive personal data about your visit. Technical processing by your browser, your internet provider, or hosting may occur as with any website visit; that is outside our direct control and does not include profiling we set up.
5. Sharing, export, and backup
If you share an adventure using your phone or tablet’s share feature, or export a backup file, you choose where that information goes (for example email, messages, or a third party’s cloud storage). Those actions are your responsibility and subject to those services’ policies.
6. Third parties
Downloading and possibly paying for the app is subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policy (App Store). This website loads fonts via Google Fonts; when loading, your browser may connect to Google’s servers. See Google’s privacy policy for details. We do not attach our own tracking or advertising cookies to this site in our current setup.
7. Your rights and complaints
Because we do not keep your personal data on our servers, we often cannot provide access or erasure “with us”: you manage your data directly on your device (for example via the app settings or by deleting the app). You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, such as the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you are in the Netherlands. The app is not primarily directed at children under 13 without involvement of a parent or guardian.
